Railway network map
The GeoJSON rail map is created from the railway geospatial data compiled by Geoscience Australia. The map is consolidated by track gauge and simplified for the purpose of modelling the ARTC data.
rail segment id: unique identifier of the segment for linking with data
track name: name attribute of the railway line
state: jurisdiction Geoscience Australia sourced the original data from
track gauge: standard, broad, narrow, or dual gauge attribute
length km: length of the rail segment in km
geometry: geospatial vertices forming a line feature
